How to block USB port in windows ?

some time peoples try to steal important data or spread virus in your computer without any kind of permission by using USB drive. when you are out of from your home . this can also be called as an hacking attempt. to avoid this type of attack you can block usb port using a trick via Registry setting.

to execute this trick you must follow below steps with  screen shot.

Step 1

click on start menu in windows

Click on run or simply type run in windows search bar

step 3

type regedit .  this will open  Registry editor

step 4

Navigate to  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\usbstor

step 5

 Double click on start in this menu  and in the value box enter 4

step 6 

click on ok 

DONE

to reopen usb port put 3 in value box in step 5
